04 Days Kenya Missionary Safari

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Morning arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative at the arrival lounge and thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel or a guest in Nairobi for an overnight. (Lunch&Dinner on Own arrangements)

Overnight at your Hotel or Guest House on Bed and Breakfast Basis 

Day 2

Day 2: Nairobi – Thika

On day 2 in our Kenya missionary safari you will  have breakfast at your  hotel and after a short safari briefing your journey to Kiriko special school for children with disability will start. Arriving in time of lunch, Spend the better part of the afternoon with the children where you will engage in various activities. Dinner and overnight at the school ground.

Day 3

Day 3: Kiriko Special School

On your day 3 in our Kenya missionary safari, have an early breakfast and proceed with various activities with the children. After lunch your journey to Nairobi begins arriving in Nairobi late in the evening and be dropped at your hotel or guest house. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Day 4: Thika -Nairobi

On day 4 spice up your missionary safari with a city tour where you will visit Daphne shedrick, giraffe centre, Karen Blixen museum and Depending on your flight details, you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your out bound flight back home Or spend the night in a Nairobi city hotel.

06 Days Kenya Missionary Safari

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival Nairobi

Morning arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative at the arrival lounge and thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel or a guest in Nairobi for an overnight. (Lunch&Dinner on Own arrangements)

Overnight at your Hotel or Guest House on Bed and Breakfast Basis 

Day 2

Day 2: Nairobi – Kajiado – Karen Blixen

After breakfast you will be picked from your hotel, and drive to African Inland Church Kajiado station, a centre for Masai Handicapped children. Most of African communities still discriminate on the handicapped people making them to feel rejected.  You will have a chance to play, sharing with the children, and also to give them emotional support.  After lunch you will drive to Karen Blixen Museum,which was the home of Karen Blixen of the famous out of Africa, the Museum house remains a serene environment that seems to belong to the past, surrounded by a tranquil garden and indigenous forest, with a splendid view of Karen’s beloved Ngong Hills,an excellent enviroment for meditation and relaxation.later drive to your Hotel.

Day 3

Day3:  Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast depart to Lake Nakuru National park,the home for millions of flamingoes Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species – particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here. Later, drive to Lake Naivasha for overernight.

Day 4

Day 4: Nakuru – Kijabe.

After breakfast at the lodge, depart for Kijabe, perhaps the world’s largest mission station. This afternoon visit the Rift Valley Academy, a school for over 500 children of missionaries. They represent some 80 different mission organizations in Africa. Tonight will be spent with missionary hosts for dinner and overnight.There will be time today to spend with Kijabe missionaries and visit Moffat College of Bible, Kijabe Medical Center and Bethany Crippled Children’s Center. Meals and overnight will again be with missionary hosts

Day 5

Day 5: Nairobi

Free day for shopping and visiting interesting sites in Nairobi. This evening enjoy dinner at The Carnivore, a barbecue-style restaurant near Nairobi where commercially grown game meats are barbecued and served directly to the table. Overnight in Nairobi.

Day 6

Day 6: Depart

After breakfast, visit Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology in nearby Karen and enjoy chapel with students from English-speaking countries of Africa. Visit the Kazuri Bead Factory and have lunch on ownarrangements  in Karen. Stop at Giraffe Manor, where orphaned giraffes are cared-for. The remainder of the afternoon is free for final packing and sightseeing. Dinner at Tamarind Resturant for Sea Food then later you  you will be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your out bound flight back home. Or spend the night in a Nairobi city hotel.

7  Days Missionary Tour

Day 1

Day 1: Arrival Nairobi

Morning arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative at the arrival lounge and thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel for freshening up and lunch on own arrangments. Later In the afternoon, visit Shelter children’s Home in Ngong about 40Km from Nairobi. Dinner and overnight with this children Nairobi.

Day 2

Day 2: Nairobi | Kajiado | Machakos

After breakfast, leave for Kajiado to visit the Africa Inland Church (AIC) station of Kajiado Center for handicapped Maasai children. Continue to Machakos to visit the Scott Theological College and fellowship with students and staff. We return to our hotel in Nairobi for the night.

Day 3

Day 3: Nairobi | Sweetwaters

After an early morning worship service in Nairobi, drive north to Sweetwaters Tented Camp, which is situated in the secluded heart of the Pejeta Rhino Reserve. The camp, a haven for nature lovers, overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the reserve, which offers us an unforgettable opportunity to watch and photograph elephant, giraffe, buffalo and other plains game. This afternoon we do a game drive in the conservancy and then enjoy dinner and overnight at the luxurious tented camp in Sweetwaters.

Day 4

Day 4: Sweetwaters | Nakuru

After breakfast at the camp, depart for Nakuru, arriving in time for lunch. Following lunch visit with missionaries involved in pioneer missions, and then mid-afternoon enjoy a game drive of Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its large concentration of birds, especially flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the  lodge/ Camp.

Day 5

Day 5: Nakuru | Kijabe

Following breakfast at the lodge, depart for Kijabe, perhaps the world’s largest mission station. This afternoon visit the Rift Valley Academy, a school for over 500 children of missionaries. Day 6

Day 6: Kijabe | Masai Mara

Following breakfast, continue traveling through the Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Wildlife Reserve, stopping at Siyapei Mission Station on en route. The Mara is the last place in Kenya where great concentrations of game that existed in the last century can still be seen. It is a land of breathtaking vistas, a panorama of rolling grassland hills and groves of acacia woodland. Permanent residents of the Mara include black rhino, elephant, buffalo, topi, giraffe, and of course, the big cats: lion, cheetah and leopard. In addition, huge herds of zebra and wildebeest lead an endlessly nomadic life, crisscrossing from the Serengeti Plains of Tanzania to the Masai Mara of Kenya. Dinner and overnight at a lodge in the Masai Mara.

Day 7

Day 7: Masai Mara | Kijabe – Nairobi

Return to Kijabe in time for morning worship service. After lunch at Rift Valley Academy, return to the hotel in Nairobi for dinner and overnight or transfer to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.

Day 1

Day 1 Arrival Nairobi

Morning arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative at the arrival lounge and thereafter you will be transferred to your hotel for freshening up and lunch on own arrangments. At 0900HRS you will be picked  up from your hotel or guest house and drive to morning star for Jesus children’s home where you will spend most of the day with the kid’s and have lunch at the home before returning to hotel / guest house for dinner and overnight

Day 4

Day 4  Nairobi, Visit Kibera slums

At 0900HRS  you will be picked up and drive to kibera slums, the largest slum in Africa, you will visit different project and learn how the people in this slum leave with all the difficulties. You will later return to the hotel / guest house for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Day 5  Nairobi | Sweet Waters

Day10

Day 10  Masai Mara

Experience of magical Masai Mara: this world famous Masai Mara Game (Wildlife) Reserve is Kenya ‘s Number One Park and is always on every tourist must see list. Full of life with various types of animals and birds, Masai Mara crowns the climax of every safari in Kenya . Its rolling grasslands and acacia savannah have time and again been captured on film with the movie Out Of Africa being the most famous. Masai Mara is home to the Big Five (Elephant, Buffalo , Lion, Leopard and Rhino) and over 450 bird species. Apart from the big five, the Masai Mara is most famous for the spectacular annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle etc from the Serengeti in northern Tanzania crossing the Mara River into Kenya in search of fresh feeding grounds, which takes place in late July or August. During this crossing, hundreds of animals are swept away by the first moving Mara River and others are killed by the ferocious African Crocodiles. This crossing gives true meaning to the phrase “Survival of the fittest”.

Return to Kijabe in time for morning worship service After lunch at Rift Valley Academy, return to the hotel in Nairobi for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)

Day 12 Nairobi, depart
