Tarangire Treetops is located 110 km southwest of Arusha in Tarangire, near the elephant migration path. The property sits alone in a private conservation area bordering Tarangire National Park, which covers an area of 260 sq kms. The park teems with wildlife throughout the year and is home to some of the largest herds of elephant in Africa. Buffalo, lion, cheetah, and leopard can also be found here. A gigantic baobab tree around 700 years old grows right in the center of the reception area – making it the property’s star attraction.

Tarangire Treetops offers 20 luxury tents, built atop tree-attached platforms, overlooking the Tarangire Sand River. Each en-suite unit has a private veranda and lounge area, with sweeping views over the private Conservation area.
